- Archiver and compression programs, often used to package files into groups (and
- compressing them) for transfer to other systems.

- compress-4.0.lzh (32368 bytes)
- A program to compress (and uncompress) single files. The compressed file
- ends in .Z. To uncompress, use the -d option. Compatable with the UNIX
- version (infact, they're the same!)
-
-
- dms-1.02.lzh (34432 bytes)
- DMS - The DISK-Masher version 1.02
-

- dms-1.03.lzh (24724 bytes)
-
-
- dms1.03 (25460 bytes)
-
-
- dmscheck.lzh (4957 bytes)
- This is a program for checking "dms" files on unix systems.
-
-
- imploder-4.0.lzh (141145 bytes)
- This archive contains the Imploder 4.0 distribution. The Imploder allows
- you to reduce the size of executable files while having them retain their
- full functionality. There are other "crunchers" or "packers" available for
- the Amiga, but none are as mindful of the complexities of your Amiga system
- as the Imploder (IMHO). In addition to this, its algorithms are more
- efficient, both in terms of speed, and size reduction.
-
-
- lha-0.99c.lzh (44521 bytes)
- A high performance Data compression utility for the Commodore Amiga. Amiga
- user interface and compression code by Stefan Boberg. Original 80x86 LZHuf
- code by Haruyasu Yoshizaki PRE-RELEASE V0.99c
-
-
- lharc-1.30.zoo (49664 bytes)
- Lharc version 1.30 by Paolo Zibetti. Yet another version of Lharc. Some
- new switches, can store empty directories, and correctly saves/restores
- file attribute flags.
-
-
- lhunarc-0.96.lzh (15964 bytes)
- Fast .LZH extractor for the Amiga. Lhunarc is a lightning fast file
- extractor for LHARC archives (files with an extension of .LZH). It is
- compatible with MS-DOS version 1.13c, and is two and a half times as fast
- as Amiga Lharc 1.1, as you will soon discover.
-
-
- lhwarp-1.40.lzh (33052 bytes)
- Lhwarp is a program which will read tracks directly from your floppy disk,
- (or any other device), compress them, and output them to a file. Lhwarp
- will produce files which are much smaller than those produced by Warp,
- since Lhwarp uses a much more efficient compression algorithm (Adaptive
- Huffman Encoding); the same algorithm used in LHARC. Typically, an Lhwarp
- file will be 80% of the size of an equivalent Warp file, resulting in quite
- reasonable hard drive space savings.
-
-
- lz_1.92.lzh (44800 bytes)
-
-
- lz_1.92.readme (788 bytes)
-
-
- ppackerpatch.lzh (23552 bytes)
-
-
- puttrax.lzh (6699 bytes)
- Tool to write .trx or .trax files to disks.
-
-
- unarj.lzh (4985 bytes)
-
-
- unarj.readme (707 bytes)
-
-
- unsit-1.5c2.lzh (45225 bytes)
- This is an Amiga port of Allan Weber's Unsit v1.5c for Unix. It supports
- RLE, Huffman, & LZW compression. It doesn't support the proprietary
- compression modes of Stuffit Deluxe.
-
-
- unzip-4.1.lzh (19288 bytes)
- Version 4.1 of a tool to unpack .ZIP files.
-
-
- uucode.zoo (20768 bytes)
- This zoo archive contains: uuencode (to encode binaries for email
- transmision), uudecode (to decode uuencoded binaries), and uuencode.man
- (manual page). -- sie@fulcrum.bt.co.uk (Simon Raybould)
-
-
- uujoin-1.01.lzh (33664 bytes)
- Version 1.01: Joins and decodes USENET binary files. I found myself
- spending too much time editing, merging and decoding uuencoded binaries
- downloaded from the net, so I whipped up this crude little filter/decoder.
- It's quite simple and probably could have been done with awk, but I chose
- to do it in C. The program, in its current state, is hardwired for various
- machine types but is easily altered. See the source for documentation.
-
-
- warp-1.11.lzh (42646 bytes)
- Warp - Warp v1.11 (AmigaDOS) Latest version of Warp disk archiver.
-
-
- zap-1.41.lzh (10807 bytes)
- A disk cruncher that only works with AmigaDOS formatted disks.
-
-
- zoo-2.01.pak (87040 bytes)
- The famous Zoo archiver, by Rahul Deshi. This is a self-extracting
- archive, so just run it to get the Zoo goodies.
-
-
- zoo210.lzh (62060 bytes)
-
-
- zoom-4.2.lzh (63254 bytes)
- A floppy disk tracking and archiving utility, written by Olaf `Olsen'
- Barthel of MXM.
